If you want to commit to eating a more plant-based diet, add more organic ingredients to your family's daily menu, then growing it yourself is the way to go! This client was so committed that she built a garden platform into her new beautiful Lakeway home just to serve that purpose! She wanted something both productive and charming to match her modern home. She also knew irrigation was key and planned ahead with her irrigation designer to have a source right where the beds would go. When we arrived for her Home Garden Design Consultation, we immediately got to work. We utilized the area she had dedicated for a garden and created a design to accomplish her goals and make the most out of this thoughtful space. She received two twin beds, stained a color that was an exact match to her home's trim. Her raised beds are a convenient 2ft deep, with designer trellises including this gorgeous arch between them. They are situated with a little extra space on one side meant for comfy seating for that ‘garden sip-a-coffee spot’ that is an absolute must. Her garden is filled with heirloom tomatoes, squash, herbs, flowers, and more.
