DIY’s can be a ton of fun.
You never learn more about a thing until you just roll up your sleeves and do the thing. That was the attitude Alishia and her husband had when they were determined to set up a great garden in the backyard of their home. She loved plants and had dabbled before, but nothing very serious or very successful. She felt totally overwhelmed when it came to veggies and herb growing, but it was February and she knew the Big Spring planting season was here and she didn’t want to miss it.
DIY’s can also be really frustrating and full of wasted time and headaches.
Alishia and her family saved a ton of time, and got things set up right by reaching out to us before they lifted a finger. She hired us for a consultation where we discussed the materials she was planning on using, discussed the right soil to use and where to get it, and we even made her a planting plan to she can get her garden set up right with the plants she loves. She enrolled in the class we offered last spring and we helped her out each step of the way.
Now she’s growing with confidence and will continue to do so, month after month and year after year. She’s become such a good gardener!

"Will these work?" "Where do I put them?" "How do I use landscape fabric?" "What type of soil do I need?" were just a few of her questions that we helped with so she could have the confident to build and grow.

Her husband built this awesome trellis after we discussed which plants she wanted to plant and what type of supports they needed. We provided a custom planting plan and planted her garden together.

In just a few short weeks, after following our lessons and e-guides and using the products and techniques we gave her, her garden growth exploded.

Everything produced beautifully and organically. She had over 15 varieties of fruits, veggies and herbs in her small space, under 50 square feet!

She added some clever ideas of her own (like this bird-detracting pinwheel) we thought were so cute and creative!

I mean, these zucchinis are HUGE! Her children love eating out of the garden!

Happy cucumbers climbing on up!

I mean, this space! This was something she never thought would be. And it is!

Just gorgeous from every angle!
